Journey, Defined

Safar means "journey" in Arabic, and in half a dozen other languages. A word that crosses borders on its own before you've even packed a bag.

Safar is a travel brand for people who want more than an itinerary. We believe the place is never really the point, the meal is, the stranger who gave you directions and then invited you for coffee is, the thing that happens off the map that no guide warned you about.

We tell those stories; from Nepal mountains to the edge of the Arctic in Svalbard; and we build from them: guides, trips, and a way of travelling that trusts feeling over ticking boxes. Coffee runs through most of it. It tends to be where the best conversations happen.
