Safar is an Arabic word that means “journey.” The same word and the same meaning appears in languages like Urdu, Sindhi, Pashto, and Azerbaijani. A simple word that connects cultures across continents. Who knew?

For us, Safar is more than just travel. It’s a journey through countries, cultures, conversations, and cuisine. It’s sipping coffee in tucked-away corners, discovering stories in the least expected places, and collecting moments that linger long after the bags are unpacked.

But more than that, Safar is born out of love, our love for travel, for stories, for the feeling of freedom that only being on the road can bring. It’s the product of years spent wandering with curiosity and purpose, always drawn to the idea of making something meaningful out of our adventures. We found ourselves constantly planning for others, sharing hidden gems and sketching ideas in notebooks between journeys. At some point, we realized: this could be more than a passion. It could be a business.

A business not just built on logistics, but on feeling. One that reflects how we travel and how we want others; especially women; to experience the world: with confidence, independence, and joy. That vision became Safar.
